i was kinda wondering why perception was used in calculating the damage. shouldn't your perception be your ability to aim?
I think perception should be used to determine how fast you aim. marksmanship should be used in the damage modification calculation against agility.
I was also thinking that perhaps the 2 bows should use strength as a limiting factor. if you have ever used a bow in real life you know they have different draw strengths. Long bows can be very hard to pull back all the way. Perhaps the Q of the bow you are using could be limited to half your strength? eg.... you have 200 strength so you can use a q 100 bow to its fullest. whereas if you had 100 modified strength and a 100 q bow you would be using a effective bow of q 50? This probably shouldn't affect the sling though.
In general i think all the ranged weapons need a reduction in damage.
Also, when you shoot a player, I thought you had mentioned that there would be an indication someone was shooting at you so that you could run away. I got a nooby alt to shoot me with a sling from behind a tree. I had no indication that I was being shot at until I was already hit. I kinda like it like this, but if the current damage these ranged weapons deal its kinda scary knowing that despite having 800ish HP and armour on that some alt somone made in 3 days can 1 hit you at anytime if you stop moving.
