Select the network adapter you use as your uplink (in case you have more than one) from the dropdown and put the 1492 in the MTU field next to it.
Save, reboot.
No need to change the other things.

loftar wrote:Just for the record, MTU problems are usually related to PMTU, rather than endpoint MTU, and when there is a problem with it, it's usually for the game protocol itself (which is UDP-based and therefore cares about packet sizes), whereas resources are loaded over TCP, which can adapt to the PMTU in question.
Please verify, however, that this problem also occurs with the default client.
