JLo, is there any chance you would let us build stone pillars outside of caves? They look very good and would be great for decoration both outdoors and indoors.

What is stopping you?

You already can, very much as intended. Mine supports as well.

Hmm, I must have messed up when trying to build outdoors, it's working now :)
Indoor columns are definitely not possible though, and would also look cool, especially in cellars.

I mined and smelted before without and after update with the new skill, and i couldn't see any difference at all.

Would you be so kind to clarify what you mean by improves ores and fair bit?

It does exactly what +2 on the industry slider did for ores in Legacy.

No, and nor can you get exact smelting values for each ore, &c&c.

After a mining and smelting session yesterday I can confirm that outputs have been increased when you get these skills. I was getting higher bar output from iron ochre and I ended up crafting 12 wrought iron in the span of about 2-3 hours (This time includes mining the ore as well). Bloom outputs ranged from as low as 3 to as high as 7 for me and bloom to wrought was basically every other bar. Sometimes I'd get 3-4 in a round, sometimes I'd just get 1 but overall the output has certainly increased.

Folks are so eager for ore percentages and efficiency and all that... I feel like I'm playing EVE Online lol.

Chill down, peeps :P A few months from now you'll all be throwing ingots (and cursing) at each other's walls because all noobs and hermits will be dead anyway.
