I found clay pretty easily. I still haven't exhausted the spot despite grinding clay.

EDIT:

Ok foot in mouth it ran out right after I posted. I hopped in my boat and started jumping around digging for clay. It seems to be laid out as small scattered nodes. One spot would run out, and different tiles next to it might yield 4 or 5. 30 tiles down or so and another spot.

I'm curious about whether they respawn in the same tile, so I've been marking nodes so I can verify this.

I love that new tree and the new stone design. Great job guys!

And I have that minimap issue too, it doesn't show anything.

The minimaps are still being generated. They'll pop in given time.

Those bloody huge-ass stones are everywhere though. Don't know if that's just a terrain thing or what but would've preferred a variety of different stone types to STONE CITY.

I don't really dislike the changes... but also I play more on a lay back style so the absence of grinding isn't too daunting.

I spawned on a patch of god forsaken land all surrounded by water with no good Q resources and a few apple trees... :x crappy luck

Somewhere in the thread it was states that resorses respawn. Dunno, but apples on my tree don't respawn for a full RL day already.

When i read this post, only one thing stuck me as bad. The magic weed. Now that i ahve played it, i realize that was a premature assessment. EVERYTHING SUCKS! That is not an exageration. Me and mine cant do shit. We are always on the verge of starving, having to alt bread to stay alive for an hour. I thought you would fix the hunger problem, not make it worse by restriction the supply of food! 5 apples? bullshit! no wild crops? proven as the worst idea in the history of the universe! Fix it! Fix the damn game please!!!
