Logging out in chairs

Postby Durkle » Mon Mar 01, 2010 3:34 am

Hello, do not know if this is a previous issue or not. Sorry if it is.

Simply put, when I log out in my chair I cannot choose "Where you logged out" when I am on the character select screen. I can log in from my hearth fire, witch is two feet away, but it takes up a bit of precious travel weariness. I just double checked (as in logged out twice in the chair and twice on land) to make sure, and still cannot log in from the chair. The chair is located on a forest tile. I'll stay logged out until the thread is addressed just in case anything needs to be checked.
I can however log in from my lean-to.

Anybody else having this issue, or has had this issue before? Again sorry if this is a dug up problem.

A chair is an object. If you log out in the same spot occupied by an object you can't log back into that space until the object is moved. The same thing happens if you log out while you are holding a basket, or if the system crashes while you are holding a boat.

The same thing happens if something moves into the space where you logged out, so logging out where the seed sorting baskets get placed in a busy village can mean not being able to log back in there the next time.
