What do you need to make silk? only two mothes. and what do you need to make silver nugget..?
Wasnt you talking of how easy it is to make steel? just 15 minutes for the whole proccess. so wtf you think your silk cost so much?

You actually tried making silk? It's not about raw materials, it's about all the work involved. Still, if I were selling robes, I'd probably let them go for as low as 2 silver bars. Not a nugget less, though.

your prices for silk were always a bit high though potjeh. i wouldn't pay more than a bar of silver for a merch robe. edit: even that is a bit of a stretch, 8 nuggets seems more reasonable.

Not a robe of course, but cape, boots and pants done.

Well, I preferred to wait to get my asking price rather than haggle down. Took some time to sell, but I always managed. I can afford to wait it out, because silk is mostly a seller's market - very few people bother making it in large quantities, and buying your robe one thread at a time is very tedious.

And making 4 cloth is still more work than mining ~10 smelters of silver ore, so there's a decent premium for exclusivity of silver. For 4 cloth you need to pick 800 leaves, which takes an assload of time, is boring, and gives zero LP. Add at least another 400 leaves for the base stock, because you need to let 1/3 of your cocoons hatch for a stable population.

Okay guys. If anyone of you have a silver, just contact me PM, so we can determine the price. Also I'm offering gold, if you don't need merc robe. Gold is most worst metall in this world - it can't be used for swords, chest or walls, so I'm offering much of it for silver - one nugget for one nugget.
