What is iron worth?

Can someone told me with what things i can buy some iron? and in what proportion?
I read some threads about iron barter, but i need more reality of price now.

I recently traded 36 cavebulbs for 15 bars of cast iron. Not sure if it's a really good price or a really bad one, depends quite a lot on the needs of the trading partner.

My best answer is: Find clay with quality over 40, even over 50 if possible.

Since metal quality is directly linked to the clay quality used for the kiln and ore smelter, everyone will be willing to give you great helpings of metal for high quality clay.
