Con food

Postby Raephire » Sun Jul 05, 2009 9:28 pm

Theres decent dexterity and strength giving experience food, but a very crippling low is the fact that there isnt a suitable high grade constitution giving food item yet. Which makes me sad in the pants.

I hope the new creatures coming out will provide meat as an ingredient for high end constitution FEP.

I would like to see more rewarding food to counterbalance high attributes and have high risks associated with collecting those meats.

Not complaining just suggesting. Im just curious as to whether they intend for things to become slower and slower like dried concrete as we develope stronger and stronger, or if they intend to keep it playable by offering more difficult enemies that provide ingredients for higher quality food that offers more food experience as we progress.

I understand that they will not add these things any time soon, and will not remove the bear experience nerf until pathfinding is introduced.

Ferinex - While con food is abundant, it is certainly not the purest stat to raise. the highest experience amount that I'm currently aware of for a single food that offers only constitution, provides 6 FEP towards it. Which would take 17 units of the food for me to raise one point :P

My own fault, granted.

The latter.

It's not only con though.
Int is twice as bad.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Do we want characters to be able to continue boosting stats close to linearly, though?
I thought it was a feature that stat increases became increasingly difficult to achieve over time (to lessen the difference between, say a newbie having played a few weeks and the demigod jolly green giants, walking the earth, with axes)

I agree that the stats boosts should not come strictly linearly, but some better foodstuffs are clearly in order. -- But I love doing food anyway. :)
