Ya good god this change is horrible. If they were such an issue increase their cost but this shit is miserable.

Forcing the minigame on people is a neat solution to get rid of all the alt and bot spam in cave levels.

I would not at all be surprised if someone had a bot that could do the minigame considering it's just a bit of logic. Not to mention if u really wanted u could just have a bot repair the mine support everytime it takes a tick.

AD has a mining bot that plays the minesweeper game and runs autonomously. This widespread tedium increase doesn't impact them at all, it just makes it harder for all the people without bots to keep up. Good job, Jorbtar.

Hugely disappointed in this change.

It only adds additional tedium, it adds nothing of value and is 100% a nerf to mining.

I'm not 100% sure of the purpose of this change. It once again punishes new players. As the world goes on old players can just spam out them as they want with the garbage metals they have.

I think the change just needs to be reverted.
At the end of the day, jorb needs to realize that this is a game.
People do not need more frustrating mechanics added on top of an already painful experience.

Perhaps you have failed to consider the possibility that it simply isn't YOUR game?

I'd have been fine with this if a cave-in did not cause high damage and long lasting wounds i built my main around mining and now i can't even mine without playing minesweeper while all the botters most likely have bots that can play minesweeper for them if anything this is a buff to bots

This. I have 3 concussions right now from mining and haven't gotten a single ore so far and now even if I did get ore and supports up I'd still get screwed over by upkeeping those supports.
At least add a shitty all wooden shoring for cave walls or something like real miners did.
