Those bursts always happen when there are less players online. Makes sense.

There are forests everywhere but I haven't found any hedgehog.
There is some grassland but no one grasshopper.

Are different species spread in different zones of world map?

These hedgehogs-ninja are very annoying with current credo-quest system

From my experience this world only the southern yellow part (is it the fruity-forest biome with apple trees etc?) looks like a reliable hedgehog habitat. Try there.

Yes there are species spreads across different biomes, but I'm surprised you can't find hedgehogs. They seem to be everywhere, but biomes come in clumps of 3-4. Maybe yours just doesn't have them, you'll need to travel to find another biome set.

Whirlpools are the best way to do this if you can find your local one.

Out island is already opened on odditown map. In this regard I ask how far the rowboat can sail in deep water? Minimap or less?

< 1 minute at best. I haven't tempted fate yet. From reports I read here, < 15s.

Instant and utter death in rowboat. Just slightly less instant.

Wait for devs to implement the boat between rowboat and knarr for ocean travel if you can't get a knarr.
