New Implementations
-----------------------
- Re-Added "Charter Stone"s. A Village may build a Charter Stone on its territory, and set a (secret) name for it. Anyone can travel from any Thingwall to any Charter Stone they know the secret name of. You do not need to have visited the Charter Stone previously to travel to it. You can not travel between Charter Stones. You can set Charter Stones to allow the spawning of new characters by them. Porting to a "Charter Stone" will apply a visitor debuff to the character porting to it.
- Added one new curio.
Key Fixes
-----------------------
- Hearthling corpses now last 24 RL hours in water, much like they do on land, preventing various dumb interactions where a body instantly disappears when placed in water on account of being older than the one RL hour corpses previously lasted in water.
- "Shoo"'d animals hitting other animals will now "Shoo" those as well. Cowball confirmed.
Small Fixes
-----------------------
- Redrew various UI elements in higher resolution to better support UI scaling: Chain used to scroll longer windows, checkboxes/marks, and the buttons under "Kith & Kin".
As always, if you liked what we did here: Support the patch.
Today's Patch Item, for the fair price of $9, is the "Feathered Bowler".
Store Description wrote:$9 This hat emerged from the jungle, whispering tales of the Seven Cities of Ciabola, and of the Feathered Serpent.
All Gold subscribers have been awarded the "Feathered Bowler", free of charge.
In the Pipe
-----------------------
- The re-addition of Charter Stones was provoked by a feeling that Thingwalls may be an insufficient form of fast travel to allow the formation of significant communities. Feel free to opine on the exactitudes of our re-implementation.
- We are working on a conversation system for quest givers, which is currently our bigger project (tm). Making progress, but patches may not be weekly.
- Again urging any custom client maker who wishes to stay relevant to get with the new rendering times. Support for the old resources will be dropped at some point.
- Our primary development direction is toward object-controlled-objects.
