in my opinion people don't use custom clients because they make the game better, but rather they use it because it gives them an advantage. and if you're playing to have a chance you have to use the tools that everyone else is, otherwise you're at a hard disadvantage. that does not mean that the custom clients improve the game, likely the opposite.

And not only that, most sane people leave after a short time out of frustration, because it is not possible to have fun if there is no standard in which everyone plays.

Lines, dots, grids, bots .... After seeing all that, and all that is possible, not respecting game design ... The dream collapses, the fable does not stand ... The framework of the machine behind it transpires, and it's cold and heartless.

That said, I agree that custom clients have been of great help in the past, especially when the game was in a very immature state, but it is time to give thanks and move on if we want a breakthrough.

The game is disgusting to play on default client and almost nobody uses it when they realize they have an option.

They amount of people who even play this game that require "an advantage" due to pvp is like 20.

There is a reason they haven't dropped support for old render and why people keep fixing Ard client.

I do not PVP and if default client was the only choice I would simply not play, and I know that is the case for many, many other players.

Disregarding an appeal to common belief might be a valid in a discussion about philosophy or morality.

The game is not perfect, and we know that, not just the UI.

Introducing workarounds for the sake of mere ease of use at the cost of further game design flaws is not a solution, but, as I have already said, in the long run, it can only do worse ... That's why they are not officially supported.

We know, there are two developers, the project is huge, we should try to suggest solutions within the game, not exploits that won't do any good, but make things worse, from the point of view of its expansion and popularity.

Don't you want to get bored testing and suggesting solutions for the 'real' game? At least keep it to yourself, use your custom client, don't bore others with the fact that it is better because it is not, and that is not where the future of the game lies.

That's my point of view.
