Solo char server all day every day.
That's always been how I played overall. I briefly attempted the whole alt thing back in legacy and I hated it.
I know there's no chance I can compete with other people still, but there would be a certain increase in peace of mind.

For what its worth, I also agreed that there is clearly a problem for botting to exist like it does, and the problem is the mechanics that are the most commonly botted areas of the game. But please, continue to not actually read anything anybody is saying and don't contribute anything to an actual constructive discussion. Instead please just keep spouting your narrative of "everyone except me is botting and its not fair because i can't be competetive with the biggest factions in the game, who probably aren't even botting as much as I think they are".

When you're ready to discuss the actual solution, which is address the areas of the game that unanimously get botted by every group then i'm willing to talk with you.

Have you thought about down sizing? FFS this is a game and not your job, If it takes too many hours in the day to do upkeep for your base, wouldn't ya think it's time to downsize?

Tell that to animal breeding RNG. The game literally favours having an absurd amount if you want the Q to raise.

"if you want the Q to raise" is not "I WANT THE BEST Q EVER". Which was me commenting on the state of breeding animals and why farming is so commonly botted. I mean, show me anybody playing this game that doesn't want their quality to go up in general. You can not achieve that in a remotely reasonable timeframe having 4-10 cows. You need 40+ minimum with how brutal the RNG is, especially since breeding Q was introduced.

Sorry but again, your attempt at a "discussion" is to point, shout and draw wrong conclusions instead of actually have any critical thinking or debate. To answer the original question: In the games current state, alt server all the way. Too many mechanics take far too much time to not have alts.

Black Desert Online, a popular MMO where mass PvP is considered endgame content that doesn't allow direct trading or dropping stuff. You can have multiple characters on one account but having multiple accounts is totally useless and can only slow down your progression.

There's a difference between mechanically making alts useless and outright banning them.

You also claim, that you just want the Q to raise, Hate to tell you, your Q would still raise, though, a LOT slower if you downsized your base enough to where you can handle the game. Even if they did tone down the mechanics to be less time consuming (which they have done on a number of occasions), players would still utilize alts and custom clients/scripts/bots because of the simple fact that they provide an advantage and there are no restrictions or monitoring in place to prevent their usage. I don't really buy the argument that it's solely because of the mechanics, although I also don't see a problem in having extra character slots for more than one character either.
