Stop derailing the thread. I did my warning in the best taste i could even though i would prefer to do it in a more direct way (with namecalling which i refrained from, or even naming specific members). Accept the fact that unless the village is more selective about its members others have the right to warn ppl about it and its dangers.

A sincere warning to new players who think that joining a mega village with 100+ people is a good idea:

Part of the whimsy of this game is hunting, exploring, foraging and discovering new things.

When you are in a village with 100+ other people, who will be endlessly competing for resources with your own villagemates.

It will be a challenge to gather even the most basic resources and you will have to rely on trade, which is exploititve and boring in comparison as you will likely have to trade your time doing menial tasks just to get what you need.

Playing alone or with a couple friends is a much better way to experience the game as a new player.
