While the server is down.

The Maintenance started and i was bored, so thought i'd seek out other people waiting for it to come back so we can entertain each other.

To start things off with... did you know there is a Dwarf Planet in our Solar System which rotates so fast that it is sort of a mix between a pancake and a egg shape. It is called Haumea, and it was discovered in 2004. it is slightly less massive than Pluto : D

Maintenance timer as more like a countdown to bed time.

On fun space facts: did you know that if you were to take all of the planets in our solar system and line them up, they would fit in the gap between the earth and the moon, with the exception of when the moon at its perigee?

I did : D. To give an idea for comparison, if we scale earth down to the size of a basketball and put the moon an appropriate amount of space away based on that scale... it would be more than 30 feet away. (I have to finish leveling for a palisade because i had to move once which stunted my leather production... I gotta rough it until its done so i'ma be up way after my bedtime)

Fun Space Fact: The Largest Black Hole we have observed in the universe is TON 618 which is 66 Billion times the mass of our sun. Even better yet that is how large it was when the light we are receiving was first sent which was billions of years ago so it is quite likely that it is actually many times more massive than we are seeing right now.

That can't be right, can it? The Earth's circumference is (by definition) just about 40,000 km, and the moon is roughly a light-second, or 300,000 km, away. So if the Earth's diameter is 40/π ≈ 12 Mm, that would mean a ratio of about 25:1 for the distance of the Moon to the diameter of the Earth.

Admittedly, I'm not familiar enough with Imperial units to know the definition of "1 Basketball", but if we assume that it's roughly 1 dm, that would put the Moon at a distance of 2.5 m, not 9 m. No?

I had my measurements wrong... The way it was described to me is "It would be on the other side of the room" i misjudged the size of the room and my house xD

I'm very happy that we have that cleared up.

LET STUFF PUT IN WICKER PICKERS STACK YOU MANIAC!
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

You know i agree that it would be a positive change to the game but i hope he never changes it because of the response it evokes from you.

This, but also I will point out that I have already explained elsewhere that the reason stuff doesn't stack in wicker pickers is not by choice, but because the technical implementation of it is, perhaps surprisingly, difficult.
