Here to +1 this thread.
This is still an ongoing bug reproduceable in Default.
At 4k resolution with Interface Scale turned above 1.50x (mine is at 2.60x), the hitboxes on items that are at least 2 squares in size extend to a third square.
This means that:
- 2 square wide items become 3 squares wide.
- 2 square tall items become 3 squares tall.
- 4 square items (like armor) take up a full 9 squares.
Note:
Because the hitboxes are too big, it's impossible to click the items to the right of a wide item or beneath a tall item.

This also appears to place stack boxes further from the item (to account for the extra squares taken), making it
extremely difficult to click items from stacks that take up multiple tiles (like skins).
