Hes lucky I was merciful enough not to have him killed. He should be grateful not complaining. I guess doing somone a good turn doesn't always pay off.

Well most of the time I've seen whole village wiped out over thievery. Getting knocked out is nothing.

I should advise the next time to check the scent from different angles to make sure it is the right one so that way you got the right one. Ironically though, this mistake got you help to solve the problem.
