this just happened.
I logged on today, gave my customary nonsensical greeting to my fellow villagers, and was promptly told that there was a russian at the gate. I came outside and found blood and gore everywhere. noobs and one of our hunters had been killed, mostly outside the walls where they were caught most of the village was gathered around a section of wall next to our lawspeakers mansion. a very well armed and armored man was standing at our gates and demanding STUFF. well a little later after an utter communication break down (trying to get him to tell us what was stolen so i could give it back and him yelling STUFF at us.) he started to claim we killed his friend, only two of us have murder, and i havent killed anyone except a few of my own alts. and as for the other guy, he hadnt killed anyone except... a few of my alts. for fun you know? i decided id had enough, and went outside (without my keys) and tried to defend my people from him, but was promptly overpowered and shot with arrows from cover. after that things went downhill. somehow they got inside the walls, ( i think someone opened a door and didnt close it fast enough.) and started to kill all the nubs. i started up a third new main (id been killed twice now) and booked it to my house where i scooped up all the silver in my chests and promptly logged out. and here i sit writing this. i dont feel bitter or enraged about it. in fact i am strangely calm. my village mates are a bit pissed, and one of them has even sworn to 20 russians a day. that same guy is now teaching me to swear in italian. we have decided to move either south or east.
how it started: this is only guess work here but i think these people came from an iron mine we stole. before we stole it though, these guys stole it from someone else. there hadent been any activity in the area of it for a goodish while so we figured it was safe to take. in fact the area had lain dormant for so long that there was holes in the brick wall. we fixed the holes and built a cross roads there. so, if you want to track them, i know my friends want you too, but i am indifferent at this point, there are fresh scents of all kinds everywhere. the village is called sandbrook. and it is in the north east corner of D4.
