Well, thank god that the insane palisade project was almost completed then.

Seriously though - why not just have a one tile "village" claim or something from the cornerposts that cannot be overridden by vandalism. Only members of the same village or those on the builder's kinlist can use the cornerpost.

There's no Australian School in economics. Unless you count the circulation of shrimp on barbies.

Then why do you feel that the game is going shit just because you now need to invest actual effort to grief people?

I agree, it hit right in the middle of our village pallisade building project...

On a more serious note, Jorb didn't this update make it too hard for newbies to throw up a pallisade to protect around those same griefers that pallisade grief?
Newbies will now have no pallisade that can be walled in, but instead the griefers can wall all across their claim.

This really sucks for people who live between 2 cliffs.

My only options now are to build 3-4 initial posts, or make 1 giant wall around both cliffs, or just not build a wall.

I will most likely choose the last option.

I hope this is temporary.

it is not all that bad altho i do see some flaws in that:

Ex.: 50 roots/string is alot to find in the first few days/week of play and thus, 5 ropes is a bit much for a new player but quite easy for more experienced and organized greifers.

i do agree that setting an ownership on the palissade would greatly help the problem, quite as the ownership of a claim post.

i do not hate this update, i just think it adds more challenge to the game... (even if playing surrounded by greifers is challenging enough to my liking)
