Several other quest givers were okay. (Saw this problem, had the same experience with "Veda" quest giver (approx coords NW corner of -204,-166), falsely assumed it was underground.)
On seeing this forum thread, I jumped to other client. went to within 1 tile of Quest giver. Then switched back to Ender, it was there beside me, quest completed.
Also, went to check other quest givers, they continue to work normally.

Re: Ender Client
Updated beta client with the fix for quest pointers disappearing when target is just outside of view on ortho cameras. Also, while at it, added distance to target to pointer's tooltip. It won't give real distance if target is too far away. If distance it too long it gives clipped coordinates, similar to party member markers. Exact breaking point I haven't figured out yet.
It has more serious issues - if you navigate to a different map chunk that is not connected to your current map (for example by clicking on some resource, like far away vortex or even something inside a cave) - you can still find player and view distance somewhere there, even though it shouldn't be drawn.mvgulik wrote:Minor thing with map window:

Re: Ender Client
Got a launcher issue on MacOS where the files aren't downloaded even though it says they are.
Any way to debug it / figure out if the files are downloaded to somewhere else? Could be a path issue or permissions

Re: Ender Client
It downloads files into current working dir, usually it is the dir you launched jar from. But it looks like Mac sets this to some other place. You can try making shell script to launch updater and see if it will use same directory as the script.wafflecat wrote:Got a launcher issue on MacOS where the files aren't downloaded even though it says they are.

Why no-one actually checks inside the client? There's menu item with big + with some actions and global keybinding list - both are good starting source of info about available actions. And then there's the rest of options screen - 90% of stuff in the client can be seen in at least one of those places.
