losing your character should be a punishment/setback, not a reward
100x this. Just do it.
+1 the fact that a suicide method for gaining stats exists is dumb

Would +1 all the previous posts if this was implemented at the start of the world, rn i'd would feel like ass to everyone who didn't do it yet compared to people who already had like 2-3 of them (Yes ik that in a couple of weeks those gains would be meaningless but still, few weeks is like 20% of the world). Tbh just fix feasting.

What if instead inheriting hunger you start character at value that has 100% food efficiency? This way hunger would actually benefit players who play less often. In most games that have such systems (sleeping giving % exp bonus etc.) works this way, you always start with 0 bonuses and you have to work towards them by not playing.

But just making it this way would cause early game to be so much longer - there would need to be some scaling to make 100% hunger be just some % worse than today's 300% (mb like 50% or so).

Inherit hunger as a quick fix bandaid now, fix feasting when there's time for it.

Even with hungercide fixed hunger still sucks dick. It'd be more effective to barely eat until table

It'd probably more efficient to just have a char eat curios from day 1 and not eat anything (Or minimal amounts to raise int and have some hunger to drop) until you get a great table and then just start eating. While, at the same time, making another char that gets those early stats for early game without caring for hunger, and once you get a table you can just stop playing it. Highly autistic.

Better fix now than have a stupid world where players keep suiciding to become titans

I actually received the infamous "will consider" 2 weeks before the wipe guys.

I just wanted to remind jorb that every competent player knows and agrees that this is cringe.
