There are multiple posts just in this thread which have contributed to the topic in some fashion and all of which are valid arguments but get completely ignored by morons like yourself in favour of some random trolling shit posts such as the one I am now quoting and getting baited into replying towards.Zentetsuken wrote:says the guy nearing 10 thousand forum posts that largely consist of embarrassing footstomping and reeing

all these myths about exploits and bots probably drive away potential players 10x more than me saying client diff, bots, exploits etc have absolutely no bearing on whether or not u are at the top of pve or pvp grindKaios wrote:Sure dude, keep that energy in your steam replies too you're doing a great service for all the potential players. Definitely making the game look better as well.

It's not a myth though? I don't know why you're pretending bots and scripts and all those custom client features don't exist. It is blatantly obvious to everyone that they do.

because ive been in various different mega villages and alliances and have seen no evidence of ppl doing anything I cant do, the best miners alwas mined manually, the farmer was always some random casual woman who enjoy farming and ive been in smaller villages with just friends and always manage to stay top tier stats, top industry, if someone is beating me in stats and industry Ive played enoguh to be able to see what the difference in effort and manpower is, like with someone like felix I know he puts twice the effort i do and if were behind in industry we already pretty much know were behind before we even encounter ppl jsut from experience, its lazinessKaios wrote:It's not a myth though? I know the clients everybody uses, they have literally no advantage, ppl see that critters are highlighted and tihnk wow they must have all kinds of advantage, no thats about it, theres almost nothing any private client ive had access to coudl do that ard cant do tbh which is public u can google "ard client haven" and get it
maybe snail group has some better bots Idk Ive never been in that village with that client but do they have the best industry and stats? no they do not
so whats all this crying about? that ppl got a bot that checks for mammoths? didnt that get patched or something? the salt node one did, idk its literally such trivial bs that honestly has about 1% impact on the game yet it consumes 90% of the discourse

Look man, I think those are all fair points and I'm glad you are able to enjoy the game and remain competitive in spite of the advantages some players have. I am certainly not saying it's impossible to play competitively, but there are without a doubt clear and distinct advantages that come along with the utilization of bots, compounded by the assistance of multiple clients/accounts only limited by however much can be removed from the client while still allowing it to run in a skeleton state.
Quite frankly though if the devs really don't bother monitoring any sort of such data, I don't think even they would have any certainty regarding the extent of botting and that is one of the problems. There is very little reason for them not to be collecting as much information as possible.

So let me understand this. People who Bot vs. the people who do not, you don't see an advantage? So the char who bots his farming and his herding which allows him to care for Tons of animals with his bot chars while his main is doing something else. you don't see the advantage? just like "the best miners always mined manually, the farmer was always some random casual woman who enjoy farming" you understand that, a char with a Bot has the potential to be just as good, you cannot recognize that? Let me ask you another question. With your abilities, were you able to gain 5K of Strength in a month? Additionally. Do you think that "client diff" or "hackers", "alts", "shared acc", "exploits" are good for H&H?MightySheep wrote:theres no update they can make which will fix the real issue which is ppl crying because they suck
lets say they totally devote all their time to clamping down on these so called botters, do u guys rly think u wont just move onto some other thing like "client diff" or "hackers", "alts", "shared acc", "exploits" or any number of excuses?
you do understand that Botting is not so much what the player cannot do, its about the fact that it allows the player to do other things while the Bot does the task set before it. I'm sure if someone who has the luxury to play H&H for 8+ hours a day every day, and A. not be burned out by it, B. is financially/sociably able to do that then that person would have better aspects than those who bot. But thats not the case for 90% of us, now is it.MightySheep wrote:because ive been in various different mega villages and alliances and have seen no evidence of ppl doing anything I cant do. first off, what Client you use, it's one of the one with the highlighted critters, no? If clients are of no matter, why do you not use the default client? But besides all that, do you not seriously see how having the critters highlighted gives you advantage against one who does not have that. We both know why the critter is highlighted. FFS manMightySheep wrote:I know the clients everybody uses, they have literally no advantage, ppl see that critters are highlighted and tihnk wow they must have all kinds of advantage, no thats about it, theres almost nothing any private client ive had access to coudl do that ard cant do tbh which is public u can google "ard client haven" and get it

Can someone just give this man access to their top bot client (without updater) and if he doesn't have 5k str after 1 month of world start and isn't the top boy in the industry we can all just laugh at him?

5k is easy, we need 10k unless its spruce competition for people without game knowledge

Re: At the Crossroads of what is and what could be?
Like I said every really good miner I've known is just someone who enjoys mining and there is a lot of skill and game knowledge involved in being a good miner. It's mostly about efficient food management, credos, gildings, and being good at min maxing industry. A lot of which is about the long process of bone clay. The actual mining part is easy. Maybe bots could help ease some of the tedium but I've never seen anyone even bot it and I have more experience than most people. What is this 5k str bs you keep saying? Where is this so called OP miner who bots? Who is it? How does efficient food management have anything to do with bots? Do you even understand your own whining at this point?joojoo1975 wrote:So let me understand this. People who Bot vs. the people who do not, you don't see an advantage? As for your last question, my point about saying all those things is losers will make excuses no matter what it is. My guild in throne&liberty all just hopped server after losing a fight vs some russians because the enemy were "scripting", nobody had any real proof of this, it was literally just some made up copium shit they came out with when it was obviously a skill diff but thats what they chose to all tell themselves lol. If bots were somehow eradicated youd be crying about ppl running macros or something I'm certain. It's not like you ever needed proof in the first place.
Seems to me like most bots you claim exist would require a ton of micromanaging anyway because miners need to be constantly fed energy food, mine support metals and the cave slime rocks need to be dealt with etc its not just an fully AFK thing. Like I said the actual mining part is easy.joojoo1975 wrote: you do understand that Botting is not so much what the player cannot do, its about the fact that it allows the player to do other things while the Bot does the task set before it. Oh no, highlighted critters. It's such an game breaking advantage how will the plebs ever recover. No. Ive used ard for like 90% of my time playing. I had nightdogs client last world but that wasnt exactly private either he was giving it to basically any1 who asked but Idk if it exists anymore if I was gonna play again Id just use ard. It would make literally no difference whatsoever to me to use ard. Its moments like this when the truth of this whole conversation is most visible because this more than anything highlights how pathetic & whiny you guys are.joojoo1975 wrote:first off, what Client you use, it's one of the one with the highlighted critters, no? Dunno I've honestly never killed a mammoth. I'm not even sure that bot which literally just logs in an alt to check if theres a mammoth around every once in a while still works. Not sure why you even need a bot for that honestly its not hard to periodically log in an alt. The bot plays no real role in actually just killing mammoths so Im not sure your point. Even if I was going to whine about bots I could do a better job than you. Youre not even good at whining.joojoo1975 wrote: So Mammoths are just as valuable as rabbits right?
