You're wearing a Bat Wing aren't you? Bats don't aggro players wearing Bat Wings. As long as you're wearing that you can freely run through caves without being assaulted by bats every couple steps.

Not sure why this was removed from the standard client. I know it's come up in C&I, too.

Also, why not just make a client with a text interface if you're going to just remove that level of geometry? "I don't even see the code anymore. I see blonde here, brunette there."
