- farmer often stops\crashes on the first crop pickup. something goes desynch. will do more testing.
- seems that farmer collects all crops in area of selection which are visible and further operates with that list, assuming it is actual. pretty sure that how it is, but got curious.

Has happened to me too, farmer farms the first one and drops all. I just sync it back up manually and it eventually goes on it's way.

Theres indeed an issue with farmer. It will be fixed someday. Meanwhile you can get familiar with manually farming your fields.

It might be conflict with automatic ore dropping. I remember something similar happening with it before. If you want temporary fix try disabling auto dropping of ore from options.
I will fix it soon though.
Im not exactly sure why this "old" thing appeared once again.
