In reality, having the ability to create private servers, similar to Fallout 76, for Gold members with a subscription could be beneficial for the game's developers. However, it might not garner support from hardcore players who want to involve casual players in their struggles.Exerosp wrote:In general, PvE tends to be vastly more popular in most survival games. Look at ARK, though it's kinda dead these days it's always been 70% or so preferring PvE rather than PvP, because people don't want to have anxiety and constantly think about their shit getting destroyed because of who knows how many reasons.
Offering a privately hosted PvE version would be ideal, especially for content creators. Then the "official" version could stay true to Jorbtar's ideals.

Just let us choose where to spawn. Central continent for the people that want early game pvp and outer continent spawns for people who want their shit sacked in a month or two.

And what puts us off the game is that someone in the middle of the field can kill a character for fun. we started playing several times and every time we die from murder lovers and we leave the game, later we return and everything repeats. We are simply being killed by a bored player, this is wrong. Someone says that it’s like in life, but in life there is and has always been a serious punishment for killing innocents (there are exceptions, but that’s not what we’re talking about), this is not the case here, all you have to do is sit out a couple of days and that’s it, you’re clean. The game has so many amazing mechanics and things implemented, but the killers turn you away from the game.
How about learning how to run plus how do you even get murdered... you can tp back to your hf after KO.
Sorry but it is just crybaby post.
P.S. When i was new i was killed too, but i've learned and never gave up.

Re: Prelude: World 15
I actually don't mind the dying pe se, what I do mind is getting killed without any reason and just for fun. These people roam the rivers and forests just out of boredom and kill you simply because you are there. It makes me sad that human nature and it's desire to inflict pain on others for fun has found its way into one of the best games that are out there. The possibility to be more, or to be the best you can be is there, even in Haven, but it seems being the worst you can be seems more interesting for some people, even in Haven.Nightdawg wrote:

You guys even bragged about only hunting hermits for their hats IIRC.
And I gotta say that giggle at the end of the video is disturbing (actually the whole video is disturbing) and you gotta wonder what kind of people sit behind a computer behaving like this? You must have major childhood issues.
