Re: Russia invades Ukraine
Putin just honored the unit responsible for the Bucha massacre. What the hell is he thinking?

Well. Fun fact: there is a version that Putin is a victim of his own propaganda. I personally don't believe in this, but let's for a moment imagine this is true. You could read some patriotic opinions in comment section not far from your link: https://topwar.ru/195125-64-j-otdelnoj- ... skaja.htmlVDZ wrote:Putin just honored the unit responsible for the Bucha massacre. 1. because homeless poles didn't become homeless because someone bombed their homeMadNomad wrote:if they are so helpful to ukrainians why haven't they helped homeless poles during all of these years? if you're a homeless pole just starve in a ditch!
2. homeless people don't starve in a ditch. There are places where such people can eat or sleep. Unless they are alcoholics, and then they're not allowed into those places. There are institutions to help them, ukrainian women wih bunch of kids in a foreign country have none.
3. because while ukrainians give their lives fighting for their country, and resisting Putin's madness, the least we can do is to look after their families
4. because ukrainians arguably have better chance of becoming productive members of society than most of the homeless people
who are you to tell others who they should help and who they shouldn't?
How are YOU helping the homeless poles?

Re: Russia invades Ukraine
Fun fact, there's shitton of homeless people in poland that are miserable alcoholics. Even if you tried to help them many would remain homeless because of their alcoholism.Procne wrote:1. because homeless poles didn't become homeless because someone bombed their homeMadNomad wrote:if they are so helpful to ukrainians why haven't they helped homeless poles during all of these years? if you're a homeless pole just starve in a ditch!

I acknowledge that many of them could also be NOT alcoholic but that doesn't change my point.
Madnomad is just fuming because his country isn't the one getting help. Selfish and disgusting.

don't expect a random pleb to have enough money to feed all existing homeless in the world, it can be done to some degree, but the problem remains regardless if some pleb does something or notProcne wrote:who are you to tell others who they should help and who they shouldn't?MadNomad wrote:...

Re: Russia invades Ukraine
So you want other people to help them and disregard the death of other people, but you won't do anything yourself? Repugnant.MadNomad wrote:don't expect a random pleb to have enough money to feed all existing homeless in the world, it can be done to some degree, but the problem remains regardless if some pleb does something or notProcne wrote:who are you to tell others who they should help and who they shouldn't?MadNomad wrote:...
