are you kiddin'? I was literally saying you should not, but you're constantly doing it when you listen to only one man (and now you will say "that's because snail is the only one who suggests something about sieges while all others stay silent" - and that's a lie)
You know, people can have different opinions on things. Something you suggest or someone else suggests that you think is a good idea, might not be a good idea perhaps, karen
Plenty of people besides snail and other HH people have suggested things that got implemented, just because your idea didn't doesn't mean he only listens to a single person or a single group.

If you want to post about your own siege-related bugs/issues, please feel free to. In the meantime, we'll go on fixing stuff that doesn't work as intended, regardless of who tipped us off about it
is it? 6 month of ppl reporting it worth nothing but one snail pm'ed and poof - here's the fix.

You cannot seriously actually believe this. Stop trolling.
Also, this is not the thread where you bitch about devs-suck in general. Your complaint was that we were unfriendly toward custom client makers, you were proven demonstrably wrong, and now you're moving the goalpost to bitch about something else. Weak sauce, bruh.

If you want an explanation for that particular problem, the reason it wasn't fixed sooner was because I couldn't reproduce the issue. It turned out not to be a wrecking-ball issue, but rather an issue with wall orientation (regardless of the implement used to raze the wall), and when it was re-reported to me as such, I could reproduce it, and we did then promptly fix it.

Is anyone disputing that many people use custom clients?

This is the real problem. Not because of lazy/quitted custom clients developers, not because of yor new features. The whole situation is because yor code is unreadable bullshit. Everyone ok with vanilla client, we even can understand "only two developers". But no one want to have a deal with your code, it's just like to have another full time job without payment.
Give a man a game engine and he delivers a game. Teach a man how to make a game engine and he never delivers anything.
If the point you're trying to make with the graph is that a lot of people were reliant on custom clients, then I have never denied that. I am well aware, and that is one of the reasons why we do try to support them, as I have pointed out to you repeatedly now.
Also, you believe -- for real and actuals -- that we provide some faction or other with special favors to magically delete claims. Forgive me if I make the inference that your judgment may leave this, that, or the other to be desired.

You say this as if any other game out there (open source or otherwise) has beautifully structured, documented code. I will half agree that parts of the code are cryptic at best, but its clearly not stopped people who care enough from achieving their modding needs. The game is a bit more inactive than usual at the moment, and it just so happens that every competent public custom client dev has gone MIA. I'm pretty sure I would do the same if I had to develop anything for free and have people constantly PMing me complaining about things or asking questions/troubleshooting/etc.
Plenty of games out there are heavily obfuscated and offer no source code, so all modders get is reverse engineering and cryptic machine-generated code to achieve what they want, and they do.

well, there's always a possibility that's just a chain of hilarious coincidences, but the longer the chain the easier to say "man, stop, you can't explain 1000 cases with 1000 different reasons while you can explain all of them with 1", and I personally don't want to believe in it, but can't see any other good explanation for all that cases...
