And I can tame an animal in roughly 4 minutes. All I need is an alt with The Will To Power and Unarmed Combat, a boat, all combat skills on my main, 7 IP and a rope.
Speaking of which, I should do this early-game and start making cheeses and bashing palisades all around... Hmm.

i've always wondered if the defense bar should come into play somehow against ranged attacks, that is, if an arrow should function more like a sting attack

when you shoot it takes your attack bar, so maybe it should take off some of the defender's defense bar too...based on MM v UA maybe? or MM v MC if you're using shield. then again if you have to recharge your attack bar then aim you'll never kill anything, so maybe just not have it take away archer's attack bar so if it comes to an actual fight they're not screwed.

I meant that you dont end fight after using quell the beast, you must repeat it few times.

Improve combat, make it like no ip only att, def and hp. And faster cooldowns.

Who the fuck blocks them in? I use a shore and a boat (don't need to be lake)
And I suicided my only char, give me a char with all combat skills and I'll do it
Actually I do block them in if: I don't have armor or I have less than 40 UA

I am just going to summarize a problem with the combat system with one sentence: damage scales much faster than the health of a hearthling.

I can manage to use quell the beast in 4 mins with 20 uac but not fully tame in 4 min...
