Does it mean we can still bash claim stakes with vandalism? Because that's a good change.jorb wrote:Reverted this change. I imagine it had some merits but we'll walk it back for now.
- Private Claims are, when built, activated instantly, requiring Vandalism to destroy, and extending crime protection to their initial 5x5 area. Private Claims cannot, however, be extended before their normal activation timer runs out.

Is that a typo? You meant W16.2, right? Right?
Yes. Fixed.

Unsure about the reasoning for no TW. Erasing locality seems kinda odd.

10k rage, also removing passing gates in aggro. Seems like someone finally pressed for gate changes requested by snail for w16.1, good job!

Re: Game Development: World 16.2
No travel weariness means that the large pvp alliance can easily show up everywhere within minutes, and with no way to easily escape the combat the result is obvious. They no longer even need to discover thingwalls. Single spawn continent is another bad change for the average player.
Explain me please the reasoning why, being next to my village, I can't just avoid the combat and I need to run for like 20 minutes to finally get away. This just encourages camping right next to villages, instead of being creative and trying to gank people when they're vulnerable, far away from home.
This world will be dead within a month.

Re: Game Development: World 16.2
Not sure what all fuss is about from both sides, these are minor changes in the grand scheme of things. I can pick up rage a bit faster, cool, I guess? Food change I dunno what to think about till I see it in action, not enough details.
Telling you now though, if this is a small world I'm dropping the game week 1. Only going to pay for 1 month's sub to see how it is. The map size for 16.1 was perfect and I don't buy the lie that all maps for all the worlds are the same size. World 15 was fucking tiny and garbage because of it.
Anyway, meh, I'm not really phased by any of these changes.
Positives -
Time factor returned to normal.
Central Spawn on 1 continent.
Rage cost reduced.
Negatives -
>Still no change to credos despite all the solid ideas given to make it less tedious (I will bring this up and bitch about it till the end of fucking time, I don't give a fuck).
>Map may be tiny, you've shown you kneel to the whims of certain players and those players want a tiny map and tiny maps are dogshit. Straight up. Just make the map the same fucking size as 16.1 but with a central single continent spawn and all will be well.
>No real exciting changes that would be ideal for an 'experimental' world with a short life span. I would have preferred you to just remove claiming entirely or something similarly radical, or add some CC moves to combat to make it more interesting and less of a running simulator.
Whatever, I'm still excited to play and there's basically no change that you could give that will kill my interest for a new world except for a small map.
