Fresh meat looking for guide

So I spawned in the middle of no where, I cant catch rabbits, I havent seen a single fruit tree anywhere and I'm frustrated. I've already died once.
If anyone could maybe tell me how to pull up some kind of world map or what I should do, or even better be friends with me and guide me I would be grateful.

I could potentially use skype. Never have before though
I'm a skype rebel.
But If you're talking about skyping while i'm playing. I warn you I swear a lot. xP

oh heck yes, you belong here. i sent you my hearth secret through the forum mail. ingame you can click on the half deflated hearth icon(next to the face) and type that hearth secret into the "make kin by hearth secret:" box. its the one on the right, the one on the left is to set your own so others can add you.

ps: we mostly use skype to keep our hands free to je.... er, to do stuff ingame without getting delayed constantly by typing. also i dont know the shortcuts to open all the windows, sorry:P
