Generic cave-wall during mining
I've mined some ore and beneath it found generic cave wall. When I've mined it I've got same ore as nearby tiles and it then turned to ore wall.

Hmmm. Hard to deconstruct the situation, but might look at it.

I've had the same thing happen when exploratory mining. I'll mine a section, the two sections that are visible and adjacent to it will turn to the appropriate tile, but the one behind it will not.

Re: Generic cave-wall during mining
had this happen a couple times. after exiting the cave and revisiting they will have turned into the proper stone/ore.

in this case, all mined tiles were iron ochre, the long line of iron ochre you see on the top was all generic cave wall before revisiting. thought it might be because of a natural gallery behind it, but no. walls connecting to the basalt on the right are also all iron ochre, but these were the normal orange colour.

Jorb, it looks like you've made it worse:
Now wall does not disappear at all, but I can walk through it
