spitroasting

spitroasting is cool and good, however

1. should allow spitroasting skinned large animals
2. maybe allow some kind of kebabing to combine several small animals on a skewer to attach to spit

one could ask, Does he even play?

1 we can already spitroast
2 you don't want to skin before spitroasting in most cases unless its a small animal. the larger ones the skin keeps the juices in while it cooks.

is there a reason for roasting small animals? they generally don't have enough meat on them. its easy for an adult to polish off 6-8 squirrels the amount of meat on them is about the same as 2 small chicken drumsticks its just not worth the time

mostly i just post

if you're going to reply with numbers at least reference the original numbers correctly. we have established that we can already spitroast. it's right there, where I said it was cool and good. i have only ever heard of a domestic pig being roasted skin on, do you have some source?

that man has eaten far too many squirrels in real life and as a result his connection between the game and reality is blurred

Hmm. I kind of like both, but I'm a bit unsure on the whole skinned versus unskinned thing. I mean, yes, you'd leave the skin on, but you'd probably take the hairs off, though? I mean, ain't noone spitroasting a wooly mammoth.

I like the kebab thing. Will consider.

a skinned boar?

I think so?

I had a quest for eating spit roasted boar and didn't want to risk it so I immediately put the fresh boar on the spit roast.

No need to shear it, the fire does that quite quickly...
