When new coordinates are entered, the tiles receive completely different values, and the number simply keeps increasing.

Hmm it works for me, do you click "submit" once when entering new coords?

When I click "Submit," the coordinates just increase.
You can see many attempts to do this in the first screenshot.

I installed cediner map in those same directories, changed the coordinates, installed your version over it, and everything started working (I tried changing the coordinates)...
Sorry!

I'm really confused :? Are you talking about vanilla Cediner map or my version? If the latter, could you submit a PR with the change which makes it work for you so I can check?

https://github.com/Serinitus/hnh-map-overhaul.git

Never done anything like this before so hopefully Claude guided me properly. Thank you for giving inspiration for a fun little project to play around with figured i'd share all of what I've done over the last 3 days of playing around.

Bug Fixes

-Minehole/ladder markers no longer crash non-Nurgling clients (Kami, Hurricane) — recognized and rendered correctly regardless of which client uploaded them
-Fixed Clutter/system markers leaking into the Natural Resources panel
-New mine layers now align to their entrance point instead of resetting to (0,0)
-Kami's "Export 2 Mapper" bulk upload now actually works (run it twice — the second pass captures far more than the first)
-Turning off Players now actually stays off (was silently reappearing every 2-second poll)

Public Access & Permissions

-Per-account control over which map sections (Natural Resources, Thingwalls, Roads, etc.) are visible
-New Public-access mode — share a read-only map with no login required, one master switch
-Per-map "Required Tier" locking

Personal Settings

-New /settings page: Players Names, Hide Character Names, and a Thingwall Icon Scale slider (0.25x–4x) — personal preferences instead of admin-managed drawer toggles

Drawer Redesign

-Every toggle is now a green/red icon instead of a switch; Thingwalls/Quest Givers/Players get an independent show/hide-names icon
**One unified search bar replaces four separate Thingwall/NPC/Marker/Player dropdowns — also fixes re-selecting the same result doing nothing
-Natural Resources (renamed from Natural Markers) and Clutter get per-category toggle panels instead of one blanket switch
-Mineholes and Caves split out into their own standalone toggles
-"Draw Road" button replaced with an inline Edit icon next to Roads
-Overlay Map gets its own independent visibility toggle
-Thingwall icons now scale with zoom to match the live server, instead of staying a fixed size
-Layout fixes: app bar spans the full width, drawer no longer overlaps it, row/label alignment cleaned up throughout
-Only Thingwalls and Vortexes are visible by default now

Yeah I phrased that awkwardly, I started with your initial build. only just finished updating and and sharing what i've worked out so far.

I think next tasks on this is mostly backend, like Setting Menu Cleanup across the board; Continue to test compatibility; eventually i want to just do away with the top border bar altogether and integrate it into the sidebar. Add a toggle for the tile assignment to be a toggle option within account permissions and an expansion to the map section of the admin menu allowing deletion of folders as well as the cleanup mentioned
