It's currently faster to use a boat and have a hearth at the top of the mine.
I'd prefer they could go run speed, but at least walk would be nice.
Also: I hit the edge of this mine, how do you expect me to cart all the way over there on crawl

YES please, agreed. this has bugged me since it actually became possible to have carts in the mine. There is no logical reason to have it go slow on the mine floor wich most likley is made out of stone. carts have been used in mines for ages.DatOneGuy wrote:Carts are too slow in mines, they need to be at least walk speed.

If mines were bigger I'd definitely agree with this, but the way it seems now, from the center to the ladder it's easier to just set CRs and have areas for storing ore temporarily a ways in on each side/corner or something.Emina wrote:YES please, agreed. this has bugged me since it actually became possible to have carts in the mine. he he on a side note, it would be fun to be able to build rail in a mine and then place the carts on the rail as its been done for ages and ages to make the carts go faster. But there must be a way to actually move the rail as the mine grows bigger tho. Might be a hassle to build rails and such but i just kind of like the idea of doing it like its been done in the real world for ages, could be a nice little village projekt.
