I cant really say, thankfully you dont need to attend to wheat as soon as its done unlike silkworms hatching.

Seeing how it's slow as hell for me and I'm full nature, I'm inclined to say it doesn't. This is just a subjective impression with no tests to back it up, though, so take it with a pinch of salt.
