Ox driven plow
How bout being able to attach an ox to a plow with a rope, allowing plowing with no/very little stamina drain? Could be the exact same as the oxcart except for... well.. its a plow. and it plows.

i might even suggest that it be two tiles wide. The huge benefits in plowing efficiency would be offset just enough by needing to own cattle in the first place, and the hassle of getting your cow yoked up and ready to go.
I'm wondering how the controlling of it would go.... control the cow as normal and just let the plow (and you) drag along behind it? That might take quite a bit of getting used to, and some ugly looking fields for the first few tries, but could be fun all the same

How it could work is that you steer the ox by using ropes tied to a bone, which goes into the Ox's mouth (like a mane?).
Then you can make the Ox steer left and right in that theory.
Simply right-click a Ox-tied Plow and you basically use it similarly to a regular plow, except it clears out 2 blocks widths, or better (wooden plow?)... THREE BLOCKS WIDTH (metal plow?)!
Since the Ox is stronger at pulling than a normal person, expect the speed to be about walking or running speed...
