Rugs should have had higher stealth + intelligence.
Normal people can't trample through brick walls IRL, why should a normal thief be able to? Go rob a weaker settlement.

maybe not, but they can climb over them pretty easily if there isn't anyone watching, you can't expect me to believe that those walls are even 20 feet high.Ferinex wrote:Rugs should have had higher stealth + intelligence.

real thieves would be able to pick the lock on the gate too for that matter.

this is true bit i am sure Jorb and Loftar have plans for such actions.
The ones who see things differently.
You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

I don't really understand how the gate and key interact anyway. Normally a gate that goes up like that would have a rope and pulley system or something similar.
i guess they never miss huh

Shit you know game enjoyment and balance is still more important than realism right?Ferinex wrote:I don't really understand how the gate and key interact anyway. Normally a gate that goes up like that would have a rope and pulley system or something similar.

Frankly, I'd like to see a large gate that didn't have a key, and could only be opened from the inside using a winch.
The grumpiest tree you ever did see.

That's pretty logical actually.

But that only works as long as hearths and idols work the way they do, which seems like a broken mechanic since you can port anything anywhere.Hamel wrote:Frankly, I'd like to see a large gate that didn't have a key, and could only be opened from the inside using a winch.
