It's a growing haven and hearth forum meme that started with Superspiff, Exewu got them next, then Sabinati and Jackard. Even those that are not part of the goons are starting to get them as well.
Another growing one is the animated rabbit avatar which was originated by Warri but was made popular by Burgingham (I think his is a rabbit with the rainbow glasses).
