Magh Tuireadh, Recent Events, a request to our neighbors.

Post by BWithey »

This is in regards to the issue brought up before the forums recently, and our relationship with the rest of the hearthlands.

I would ask that if an issue such as this is brought up before the forums again, that we be given a chance to comment on it before action is taken. I know that there have been instances where it seems certain political entities are not willing to accept responsibility for actions taken within their lands, or by their people, and I assure you that is not the case with Magh Tuireadh.

If we have acted wrongly, if you are invaded or robbed by someone from our lands, please contact me about it. I will see that you get your justice, whether it's the return of items stolen, or the death of the culprit by your hands so long as we agree that death was just. If you take issue with an act of law within our lands that is brought before these forums, please contact us.

And while I understand you may not agree with the way we run our Kingdom, or the way we play, understand that my citizens know they have a right to leave our lands. They are not serfs, nor slaves. I ask that you leave us to our way of living, as we will leave you to yours.

With respect,
King Lunarius Haberdash of Magh Tuireadh

Could I challenge you to a fight?

Nothing serious, just some sparring in old armor. I suppose you could roleplay a big tournament around it though. That would be cool, I suppose.

I'd like to apologize because one of our members was unaware of our military policy (which was actually quite... hidden I guess you could say in chat logs), we've since moved it onto our private wiki and have made all members aware of not following scents and taking action until you have confirmation of both sides, not to do mercenary work, and that if they find any scents leading to your kingdom to contact me directly.

I'm sorry for all this mess and some 'gifts' will hopefully ease the pain of your dead member. :)

DatOneGuy, and Sodom,

Thank you for the respect and consideration you've shown during this unfortunate debacle. Your apologies and payment of Herbert's honor price are most gratefully accepted. The people of Sodom have been quick to respond to inquiries, and worked quickly and efficiently to see that the matter was resolved to everyones satisfaction. Here's to a future of beneficial trading and cooperation.
