I must say, Vinnie appears to tell a more compelling argument (aside from various "mudslinging"). I believe Vinnie's innocence is genuine in this case. Especially, since he was rather busy in Bottleneck around that time, and someone else already admitted to this, whether he is telling the truth or not, I cannot say, but their story seems to hold water.
Note, if you kill Vinnie without proper evidence against him, your own life will very likely be forfeit.

I would like to encourage you and your party to explain the robbery of Sithic and myself's settlement, and the attacks on me in unclaimed forest. If by reasonable you mean punishing firm resistance by death, well, I don't usually consider terrorists reasonable.lazerdix wrote:I would like to encourage you and your party to stop mudslinging and debate with a fair head, instead of rampant trolling as usual. Thank you. You'll find we've been quite reasonable, aside from mudkipz, but to be fair you have personally gone out of your way to antagonize him. I will encourage him to hold his more biting remarks for now.zombieexpert wrote:You love to argue principle Lazer, so why does it not matter to you that you and Mudkipz attacked, albeit failed to harm, me? You're a hypocrite huh?

Re: The Revenge of Vinnie
We do not have evidence against Vinnie at this point, but it's obvious that his "friend" has torn up a forest, one of the highest commodities of this game. Please note the ease in which one can alt, or at the very least that he has claimed friendship with Sithic, so it is a very clear ploy to draw out violence and then bait us on the forum. We punished his accomplice, or alt, regardless and are now showing we are at least just in that. I'm sure soon enough Vinnie will falter and we will have no choice but to bring harm on him as well, though I am about as upset about it as you are. I am about the lulz, not the killing. Knock outs are funny, murder is not.Hamel wrote:I must say, Vinnie appears to tell a more compelling argument (aside from various "mudslinging"). I believe Vinnie's innocence is genuine in this case. Personally, I find him to be very disrespectful and offensive, but I guess if BN doesn't care about that... -- he made and then later deleted (after he realized he was wrong?) the post where he said I didn't know anything and to stop defending "my boyfriend" when I pointed out that Dela, being offline at the time and not having a character that looks like the one in the screenshot, is unlikely to be the one to have killed his friend, and that baselessly accusing goons of murder is kind of a dick move. And he's been swearing at people on the forums and verbally harassing the bros for quite some time, both ingame and on IRC.Hamel wrote:I must say, Vinnie appears to tell a more compelling argument (aside from various "mudslinging"). Is that okay with you guys? (Honest question, here, because while Gooncastle doesn't care if goons are retards on the forums, I think some other towns do have out-of-game behavior standards for their members).

I only do it when i'm attacked first, and yes Delamore did kill him.Colbear wrote:Personally, I find him to be very disrespectful and offensive, but I guess if BN doesn't care about that... Edit: Of course this isn't rock hard evidence, but atleast its not something made up just now, as you can see the timestamp

Both sides of this argument appear to be treating each other with extreme disrespect. So, I am choosing to ignore that, and I am trying to see through the muck of offensiveness that conceals the facts, however few there may be.Colbear wrote:Personally, I find him to be very disrespectful and offensive, but I guess if BN doesn't care about that... For the most part, Bottleneck's rule of conduct is common sense. As our members are typically quite respectful and friendly.

No one owns it, that's the point. If anyone is going to call it their own, it would be the settlement with the most ability to enforce it's rule. Frankly, that's not Brofica. I understand them wanting to preserve the forest, and support that effort. I actually believe the forest is named 'Cake Woods' or Cake Forest or something after Caketown. I'm pretty sure it's on the maplib.Jackard wrote:lol indignationFerinex wrote:Your forest? pumpkin was of course referring to the forest immediately surrounding the settlement. or did you believe <insert town here> owned the entire northern woodland?
i guess they never miss huh

Despite my fury over the matters, I am trying to remain as level headed as responsible. I'm going to attempt to take the role as spokes person for the bros in Atheuz's absence.Hamel wrote:Both sides of this argument appear to be treating each other with extreme disrespect. Also I would hope that a chat log between vinnie and the perpetrator in question would not count as any sort of deductive evidence in this matter.
We were simply defending an area very close to us. We were the first on the scene and we acted accordingly, especially seeing as we consider it a ploy on our lively hood; We are one of the groups that rely on the woods there.Ferinex wrote:No one owns it, that's the point.
