same here. it's OK that stuff doesn't decay on claimed land - it's assumed the claim owner does the chores of repairing everything on time. but if the owner leaves for too long, the claim should either decay or slowly shrink in size. if the claim shrinks far enough, fences and palicades will become unclaimed and decay.burgingham wrote:This is just a bad idea. I actually would be ok with claim decay. Now that we don't have to take care of other stuf anymore I see no big problem in putting a dream into your claim stake every once in a while.

'most of new players' also have no mine. Coincidence? I think not.

ok, they don't have mines because they're newbies like me and most of the mine spots are already occupied. also i had been saying that newbies don't have tresspasing, vandalism and steal.

If you found an abandoned mine, consider yourself lucky enough. If you can't put the small effort/risk into taking it over, you don't deserve it. There are new mines in the expanded edges of the world; you can always search out there for a few hours to locate a mine, but I'm afraid even that will require you to not be so newbie that you can't see rustroot. You're going to have to play at least a little bit if you want anything. And no, reaching that 4000 LP goal of Yeomanry is not enough.

I get that you're saying that newbies don't have vandalism, but what's your actual point?
BTW, do you think that you should be able to wrestle bears with a brand new character?

off: no, i don't think so, i can't even handle a boar
my point is to allow new players that can't build or find mines on their own to enter those abbadoned.

Well yeah, getting mines is kinda like fighting bears by design. There's a reason why the per*exp requirement for seeing rustroot isn't 1.
