Jesus christ people are killing each other for backpacks?PRT-Drunkard wrote:It's part of the game, sadly. I think it was mostly for giggles. The backpack was just a side benefit.

Not all of us are cutthroats and thieves. Some of us just want to play a game where there is a sense of accomplishment. This is not a slam to those who play more aggressively. I'm just pointing out that some of us prefer to play differently. I have avoided interaction with most people I meet in game because I will never be someone who will have a desire to kill someone. I have played for awhile and have managed to avoid all but 4 other players. Two were nice and very helpful (Thank you), one was indifferent and one wandered into my camp like he owned it but left quickly.
All in all I consider myself lucky so far.

Right. Listen up kids, lest ye forget: This is the Internet, where men are men, women are men, and children are FBI agents.

This is quite true. Lulz is, in fact, fair justification for random acts of murder.Sarchi wrote:The guy probably killed you for lulz.
To "do it for teh lulz" is to do what makes us human. It makes us whole.
You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

You're welcome. hehe.Elf_Lyne wrote:Two were nice and very helpful (Thank you).
Btw, when you're on next, you should get away from the river to avoid river snipers.
We have space in our little area, (wouldn't call it a village, lol) you should come and join us, there's plenty of room to build a house and stuff. I'd like you to be with us.

Just a little update. The guy who wandered into my camp came back and left an apology and fish! LOL See, not everyone you meet is bad.

Yeah, some just accept the vibe I've noticed. A few have come up to me bluntly (while looking for clay), and I explained that I will not go near villages unless for basic screenshots. I mean seriously who wouldn't like some nice screenshots of an amazing village?Elf_Lyne wrote:Just a little update. The guy who wandered into my camp came back and left an apology and fish! He seemed almost indifferent to my kindness and lack of bluntness. Rather than just shooting me down. But apparently ya'll hate russians? xD, they seem to have some nice places up there in the motherland. Thankfully though I am neither Russian nor have such descendants (IRL that is).
@jgudge: I'd rather you join me. We have a lot set up and some security measures being built.

Same here, but i've got a large palisade going right now, and elf joined me and is aiding the progress of our settlement. I'm not looking for war with other people, so i don't think i'll be irritating anyone, but a nice wall is good to have.JoshIcy wrote:I'd rather you join me. Once a world map comes up, i'll come drop in, sound good josh?
