every time i try to do something it gets broken or stolen.
I set out a bear hide to dry, and some people come along in the night and steal it.
why whenever anyone sees someone elses encampments they must resort to sabotauge?

Learn Yeomanry, and place a claim down. If that isn't enough to protect you, place a palisade wall.
Both of these things can be done in a few hours from making a new character.

trying to dry a bear hide, plus my friend forgot to set the color codes for the kins so i had no access to our main storage place.

It's not sabotage. In this world I have stolen a lot. If it's not claimed, or in your inventory, you obviously don't care that much about it, therefore I take it and use it for my personal benefit. Get over it.

Sorry my friend, but thats how the game is played. If you don't have a claim down then everything of yours is up for grabs.
