so far the terrain is looking pretty flat, hopefully they do more with three dimensions than just using a different camera and models

It would have proven your point much better and also proven you really do understand how to fight people and not only how to slaughter helpless sheep.

@Jackard
hopefully. it would make ambushes easier. hide behind a small rise or in a small depression, and have a lookout hidden. speaking of hidden, it it's 3d, there needs to be someway to camoflauge yourself. i don't care if it's a scraped out ditch covered in leaves, there has to be someway to hide in plain sight.

I would like to hear some of kaka's music in it somewhere.

The character models bug me, but I love the unequiped axe. Much of the HUD has H&H similarities that I adore and the scenery is damn good. Trees look scaled to characters and plowed land will be my favorite tile, I know it. The title "Salem" might fit with the setting, but couldn't you guys make it more unique?

Also, Paradox's forum lacks H&H's forums touch and knowledge of the developers. It really needs some details that could help both communities.

Edit: I think we crashed their site.

There is only one problem I can see with this.

How the heck am I gonna find time to play Salem and Haven & Hearth?

Seriously, though, this is kind of a big deal and I'm excited to hear about it (especially exactly what's gonna happen with Haven). Congrats to you both.

Depends on the time period but new colonial is when England first sent people to North America's. HOWEVER their were already slaves in North America due to the slave trade and the two leading nations of travel, Spain and Portugal, so very well migh have slaves.

I added South vs North as a funny remark so don't have to take it seriously.

So this is what the tmain.png update was all about. I was all hyped up for some huge H&H development they've been working on.
