Why? My last job was as a programmer in a video game company working on a mobile MMO.

I am currently making this game; basic interaction between client and server are already done. It will need a lot of graphics, testing and love, but this is not just a pitch into the void.
Is it a Java like H&H?

Mostly java.

I decided to do an experiment with JOGL through LWJGL by using Slick2D on the client side and RedDwarf on the server side.

I still have to modify my old resource build system so it outputs java instead of C++... but that shouldn't be much of a problem.

I would love to help, though I don't really have any practical skills with which to help!
Well, I could design areas and such if I had pre-designed tiles to go by...

Anyhow, a neat idea. We really do need some steampunk games.

I'm a pixel artist.

If you need me to draw any in-game art contact me in PMs, please.

Same as the above guy, I can do light art/spriting.

Also, an idea:
Make most things produce-able and rare things find-able. Not with something like an exploration perk, but going into a destroyed city area and scavenging.

On an unrelated note, I am a proud member of the Church of Sabinate. Gib monies and don't get repotted!

I was thinking about going the procedurally generated world way, but that might be a bit later on.
