Or all nodes in general, but mostly this proposal is for soil due to how much easier a node has become to grief.
Currently time to gain back one point is 8 hours. However what you gain from a single point before it decreases doesn't really seem to scale with that.
I propose that this time be decreased. To how long, I'm not sure really. In my opinion however, 8 hours just seems too long.

Re: Soil Node
perhaps a diminishing return system to raise node quality? such as if you have 1-10, say 1 hour to go up by 1 point; 11-20 is 2 hours; etc, etc, until it hits 8 hours again?

Re: Soil Node
That sounds fair, but it doesn't really address the issue of someone else digging down your entire node.

Re: Soil Node
well, i only have a limited knowledge of nodes, so i am having troube thinking of any possible grief-preventions for this. perhaps someone else can come up with a way to prevent it.Kaios wrote:That sounds fair, but it doesn't really address the issue of someone else digging down your entire node.

Re: Soil Node
maybe making soil not decrease due to digging? with the myriad of q80 and q90+ soil nodes in the world now, is this really necessary at all

Re: Soil Node
alternatively, farming could be capped by the natural q, if that's even possible with the current code. or the amount of soil dug per day could be limited, but it seems artificial to me.bitza wrote:maybe making soil not decrease due to digging? with the myriad of q80 and q90+ soil nodes in the world now, is this really necessary at all

Re: Soil Node
well, soil is layered, and deeper layers tend to be more compacted and harder to dig in general. maybe make that the rule for digging soil?sabinati wrote:or the amount of soil dug per day could be limited, but it seems artificial to me.
