Yeah, sounds a bit like Civ or Age of Empires. I play those when I want that experience.

i think you should have to flag yourself for pvp. that way the game is much more fairer.

It needs a lot of work, but that doesn't mean the idea is bad or that they should just copy something else instead of ultimately working on it until it's less crappy. Personally, I really like the idea behind H&H's combat system, but it's currently really inaccessible to newbs and the way you need to switch moves and maneuvers can make it a complete clusterfuck sometimes. Having to gain lots of IP also makes combat slow as hell, sometimes.

once again, its a failing of their user interface

In combination with making pvp earn more LP, that'd be pretty interesting. People would know what they got into, taking risks but having chance on huge rewards as well.

Or the best of both worlds; people can sacrifice their right to reincarnate, but earn more lp from PvP. Then again, that'd just lead to catastrophic newb murder.

Nevermind.

Well, they wouldnt really give a fuck as you only get 25% back at full change anyway. Noobs dont earn any LP though, I mean, I killed a noobthief lately, and I got like 1k LP, I laughed my ass off.
If killing a boar gives me 3.7k, actually leaving a murderscent should give me 5 or something at least right?
But yeah, killing alts.. No LP for killing characters from the same IP?
xD

I said it could be interesting, not good. You cant put down all ideas without trying them imo.
As a dev I find it hard to decide on good gameplay as well, my solution is just to try it and see ^^ (I dont have a playerbase who rants at me yet, only tester ;P)
