I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or what, but I find that it takes enormous amounts of food to get from very hungry/starving to full.
ex. - a dozen loaves of bread
- all the meat from 3 or 4 cows
- ~72 grapes, apples, or mullberries

well, not realistic but very usefull gameplay element. iam fine with that amount.
