Better bows

Arrow heads are small. Not much bigger than coins. For game balance I could see 10/bar, but really it would be more like 50-100 per bar. Coins just make a convenient size allowance. On the other hand, arrows in this game are bigger than stone axes, so I guess it could go either way.

The idear to implement a rare new tree, for special bows seems good. Another already mentioned problem is the arrow size. I could be wrong, but is it possible to take more than 10 arrows with you? i had to use two inventar places for one arrow. Making them stackable, like i.e. ultima onlie, would be a very good way to solve this problem.
Another way could be to implement a new bagpack for archer like in the real world or fantasy films, which you can holf maybe 50-100 arrows.
