Where all the animals at?

What is this, mass extinction? I've been traveling for at least an hour and a half now looking for something to kill, and nothing. All I find are corpses and skeletons of animals. Did they lower spawn rates or something?

first of all, it's night time. night reduces animal spawn.

Hmm but could someone say to me if the spawn rate of animals is the same of w3?
Because this would cause a unbalanced situation, due to the fact w4 is smaller and have a more dense population of players, this means more competition..

animal spawn rates were reduced, deal with it
